You’re no doubt all familiar with the LEGO games now, we’ve probably all played them and loved them. This latest iteration is of course based on the highly anticipated film franchise and will release at the same time as the latest movie in the franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in May 2011.

The game will release on the following formats: X360, PS3, Wii, PSP, Games For Windows Live and the DS.

The presser (below in all its glory) only mentions Nathan Drake and his bromance pal Victor Sullivan (Sully). We are hoping beyond hope Chloe Frazer and Elena Fisher will also make an appearance in the game, they are awesome after all. Still it didn’t stop one cheeky Halo soldier from taking to the skies on a jetpack. The video is above, showing the stuntman in question chatting about the addition of the armor making the flight a bit more tricky, though it goes off without a hitch. Director of Xbox and Entertainment Stephen McGill certainly seemed to enjoy the flight. Check it out above.

As you’re no doubt aware, we female gamers usually get left out of advertising for games, unless it’s for some game that the marketing people think falls into the realm of “girls would play that, it’s prissy”. It is nice therefore to see Ubisoft actually making the effort and recognizing that women like a little RTS and world building god gaming in their lives. The trailer below is for upcoming title Settlers 7. The Settler’s is a great game that’s been around for years, always oddly more popular in Europe than the states. Check out the trailer, it’s cute.
