PS3 lockout 8001050F error nightmare may be over

PS3 owners can relax, it seems the internal clock issue that has plagued the system for the last 24 hours or so may have been fixed. I’ve tested both PS3 units here at Thumb Bandits HQ (a slim and launch system) and both appear to be working without issue. Various other press offices are also reporting the issue is finally in bed. So PS3 owners, relax, hopefully the damage was minor and you didn’t lose too many trophies, save games, or game time. The full extent of any issues should flood the internet over the next few hours we would imagine. You can hit up our forum discussion on the subject if you like.

All I can say is… you are VERY brave to have tested those.

I am still stunned that Sony stuffed up so badly. Maybe I shouldn’t be though lol.

I think Sony should be giving away some freebies because of this!
