Portal 2 announcement coming soon?

Valve are up to something, we’re not sure what, but it involves Portal. Valve has just released an update for the game, which in and of itself isn’t that strange, but given the mysterious manner in which this has occurred has the internet all a flap. Eagle eyed Steam forumgoers spotted new sound files that allegedly feature Morse code encoded transmissions. These transmissions are related to Portal which has been updated with “Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations.” This is along with a new Steam achievement “Transmission Received”. It might be nothing, but it could be a Portal 2 or Half Life related announcement. We’ll keep you updated.
