As you all know we like having news items here that cover female gaming, be that characters in games, or the people who make them. This week The LA Times has an interesting interview / article up featuring Amy Hennig – creative director at Naughty Dog Studios in Santa Monica (the Uncharted franchise to name but one). Hennig talks about how she was a film student who says she “had a lightbulb moment: that this [video games development] was a more interesting and pioneering medium than film.” She talks about being a woman in gaming and getting the male developers to make breasts smaller. Head over to The LA Times if you want to read the whole thing.
