SSX 3 – Bullet Review

I was SO looking forward to this game because SSX Tricky is one of my favorite ever games over any platform. I had the original SSX and I loved that too, but with Tricky the excitement lay in the overly insane tricks you could do and of course the Uber Tricks. SSX3 promised to combine these and more to add the the overall gameplay.

On first playing this game for ten minutes I got the same buzz I did about Tricky. Great characters, interesting choices available for customization and plenty of scope for a long life span. I started playing with Elise who is my favorite character and was glad to see she was as cool as she ever was. The difference I noticed immediately was how there’s been the addition of more goal oriented tasks and these have been mixed with free-form play as well. I started to get through some of the main quests immediately and racing seemed fair and not too difficult yet. Some of the other challenges seemed pretty difficult right off the bat though and I think will require some serious patience later on. The music is good as always and the game looks bright and cheery, graphically excellent. I’d say go buy this one.
