MechAssault – Bullet Review

Fancy a stint in a 40 foot Battle Mech without the hassle of a controller as big as your dining table? then MechAssault is for you. This 3rd-person action/shooter lets you choose from a dozen or so Mechs ranging from fast 30 ton models to huge 100 ton models (each with their own specialties). The controls are easy for pick up and play but will pay off if mastered on a deeper level. The Graphics are not too shabby with interactive environments for you to blast the crap out of.

Overall though Mech Assault shines the brightest on Xbox Live. Even if the single player mode doesn’t do much for you the Live content is superb and will have you returning time and again, particularly given the free downloads including maps and new mechs.
