Ok I picked this game up for £5, yes that’s right, £5 ($9). I like games that are based on button bashing in time to music, but Mad Maestro is slightly different as it is classical music rather than the usual Japanese pop etc. Mad Maestro also features pressure sensitive gameplay, rather than just matching up certain buttons to onscreen prompts. There isn’t much of a story to it, but if you love these music rhythm genre titles it instantly grabs you and you’ll soon find yourself wanting to keep playing. I couldn’t put the controller down. Color me addicted to this cartoon classy music fest. I want to get to the final big concerto in the town hall, so I’d better get going, I have some conducting to do! If you can get it as cheap as I did, pick it up and start twirling your baton.
