Luigi’s Mansion trademark mystery

A few days ago an interesting thing happened regarding Luigi’s Mansion. Nintendo it seemed saw fit to redo the Luigi’s Mansion trademark. Now let’s not get too excited, it could be they want to keep it fresh, it might mean they’re thinking of bringing Luigi’s Mansion to the Wii. This is something that’s puzzled me for some time, why haven’t they remade Luigi’s Mansion for the Wii, it’s the perfect arena for the title and it was a really cool game (albeit rather short). Here’s hoping Nintendo are thinking of bringing the game back from the dead… so to speak.

   Luigi’s Manson was a great title on the Gamecube, I really enjoyed playing through it all. As you’ve stated, I too am amazed that it never appeared on the Wii, either as a revamped Players Choice title (like the Cube Metroid titles) or as a completely new instalment.

   The Wii’s motion controller would be an ideal control system for the game, using the torch and the vacuum to hoover up those ghosts.

   Be interesting to see what they do with the trademark update.
