Blinx The Time Sweeper – Bullet Review
Originally marketed as “The Worlds First 4D action Game” Blinx fell so far short of my expectations. So much so that the games site I worked for at the time were allegedly told by a particular company that my review could not be published with the scores I had given it and that I’d have to change them, I didn’t and it remained unpublished.
I’m not going to hold a grudge, I’m just going to say that for all the hype Blinx just didn’t do it for me, I found the game frustrating and samey with level design that left me wanting. On the upside the game is gorgeous to look at and technologically clever, but I generally prefer something with a little depth to it. Borrow this game and give it a go by all means, but remember hype doesn’t equal brilliance.
