Armed and Dangerous – Bullet Review

Post Rating

This amusing third-person shooter features some of the funniest and creative weaponry on the Xbox. Attack your enemies with the ferocious Land Shark Gun, throw a Topsy -Turvey Bomb, or unleash the World’s Smallest Black Hole.

You play as Roman, leader of the Lionhearts, a crazy band of rebel misfits including a Scottish Mole and a robot with an odd affinity for tea that has lead him to become a sentient being. Lead your crew on a frenzied mission to steal the Book of Rule, gunning down Grunts, Goliaths, droids and evil monks along the way.

The game is more for entertainment than strategic gameplay value. That being said, the targeting is a bit sloppy, and your cohorts, although fun and witty, aren’t the most intelligent group you could ask for. In fact, most of the time, they are too stupid to even step out of the line of fire. But what they lack in brains they make up for in comic relief.

All in all, Armed and Dangerous is highly entertaining and fun to play, and can be forgiven its few minor faults. If you want a shooter that doesn’t take itself too seriously, check out this game. “Victory is yours in 12,000 bullets or less.”
